Booking & cancellation
How do I book a tour?+
Message us on WhatsApp at +1 829-616-2263. Pac and his team reply personally, usually within minutes. Confirm dates, hotel and number of guests — that's it.
Do I pay a deposit?+
Most guests pay in cash on the day of the tour. For current payment options and any deposit terms, please contact us on WhatsApp.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour starts. Inside 24 hours, cancellations may not be refundable unless caused by weather or our operational decision.
Can cruise passengers book excursions?+
Yes. If your cruise calls at La Romana, Pac Tour coordinates pickup and return to match your ship's schedule. Message us with your ship, date and port time so we can plan around your boarding time.
Weather & safety
What happens if weather conditions change?+
Safety always comes first. If conditions are unsafe we reschedule at no cost or refund you in full. Pac Tour will WhatsApp you the night before with a clear go/no-go.
Is it safe for children?+
Yes — we provide child life jackets, keep groups small and ensure shaded seating. We routinely take families with toddlers.
Is it safe for older travelers?+
Yes. Boarding is calm and assisted. We pace the day so nobody feels rushed.
What to bring & wear
What should I bring?+
Swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, a light cover-up and some cash for park fees and tips. We provide snorkel gear and life jackets on boat excursions.
What should I wear?+
Light, quick-drying clothing over a swimsuit for boat days. Bring a cover-up for sun protection. For Santo Domingo and inland tours, wear comfortable walking shoes. For ATV trips, wear closed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dusty.
Can I bring my own drinks?+
Open bar is included on most full-day boat excursions, so you don't need to. Drinking water and soft drinks are always provided. For exact inclusions on your specific tour, please contact us on WhatsApp.
Families, transportation & accessibility
Can families join?+
Yes. Pac Tour is family-friendly — small groups, life jackets in adult and child sizes, shaded seating, and a relaxed pace. Saona Island is the most popular choice for families.
Is transportation available?+
Yes. Every Pac Tour excursion includes round-trip pickup from your hotel or cruise port in air-conditioned vans. See the Pickup & Logistics page for typical pickup windows by area.
Do you take pregnant guests?+
Please contact us on WhatsApp before booking so we can advise the right option for you. Speedboat rides are generally not recommended in late-stage pregnancy.
Wheelchair / reduced mobility?+
Bayahibe marina is mostly step-free with assistance, but Saona Island has a sandy beach which is harder for wheelchairs. Tell us your needs on WhatsApp and we'll set realistic expectations for current availability and details.
